Key Responsibilities :
• Identify, prospect, and develop new key accounts within specialist retail, cultural and leisure chains, as well as national and international distributors;
• Map client decision-making structures to optimize the sales approach;
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of key accounts by building long-term, strategic partnerships;
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts on all commercial and contractual matters;
• Negotiate pricing conditions, volumes, assortments, national listings, and promotional operations;
• Lead framework agreements and ensure their effective operational implementation;
• Present, promote, and roll out PVC product ranges (new releases, exclusives, product launches) to key accounts;
• Develop tailored commercial offers aligned with the constraints of mass retail (MOQs, margins, logistics, supply chain);
• Coordinate product launches in close collaboration with internal teams;
• Monitor performance indicators (revenue, margins, volumes, sell-in / sell-out);
• Analyze account performance and propose corrective action plans;
• Provide regular, structured reporting to the Sales Management team;
• Share market insights and customer feedback (trends, consumer behavior, competition);
• Conduct active market monitoring of the PVC / collectibles sector, retail best practices, and competitors;
• Identify new business development and growth opportunities.
Profile :
• Proven expertise in B2B sales techniques and key account negotiation;
• Excellent knowledge of organized retail distribution channels, buying groups, retail chains, and key industry players;
• Strong and actively maintained professional network among key account decision-makers;
• Significant experience in launching new product ranges;
• Ability to build and deploy a listing, in-store visibility, and commercial activation strategy (promotions, POS materials, special operations), subject to validation by the Sales Manager;
• Strong numerical and financial mindset: contribution to business plan development, margin tracking, and sales forecasting;
• In-depth knowledge of products, customers, and the market, with strong analytical skills to assess trends and consumer behavior;
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP is a plus;
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, reporting);
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong anticipation abilities, with the capacity to influence and build sustainable partnerships;
• Strong listening skills, organizational abilities, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, finance, and production teams;
• Proactive, solution- and results-oriented mindset focused on developing and optimizing key account performance;
• Proven resilience to stress, particularly in strategic launches, high-pressure negotiations, and ambitious targets;
• Fluent French and English required; any additional language is an asset;
• Willingness and availability for frequent travel to key accounts and distribution networks.
